Summer 2018 Comment Challenge: July

Hello, lovely readers!

I stumbled upon this challenge and completely fell in love with the premise of it (if you’re confused about what it is or how it works, you can read my first post about it here). I really enjoyed participating this past June, where I was partnered up with the wonderful Sam over at her blog, Tsundoku. She writes some really fantastic reviews in a format that I really enjoyed reading (seriously, the layout of her posts are just so crisp and clean and gorgeous, I’m nothing if not a little jealous over here in my not-blog-aesthetic-savvy-world) and her blog is beautifully laid out to match. I’m so glad I was able to connect with her throughout the June Comment Challenge and have no intentions of not reading her blog in the future–it’s a gem I’m happy I discovered!

Now that July is here, I have a new victim partner. It’s Annemieke over at A Dance With Books (which, if you read her About Me page and learn about where the name of her blog came from, I think you’ll suddenly want to give her mad props, because it’s brilliantly wonderful) and I’m already excited to start reading her posts throughout the month of July! Just pursuing through some of her latest makes me excited to see what she posts next (also, I love her green aesthetic and how she has all of these fantastic banner-type-things for every post that ties everything together; someone teach me how to be this crafty).

I definitely plan to partake in August’s Comment Challenge, as well. It’s a really neat way to become more connected in the book blog community and it’s honestly a joy to get some more regular comments on my posts here. Since Erlebnisse is still growing, that doesn’t happen very often and it always brightens my day!

Also, don’t forget to check out the creators of this lovely summer challenge over at their blogs, too: Lonna at FLYLēF and Alicia at A Kernel of Nonsense!
