Reading Challenging

Iron Tome-A-Thon Reading Challenge Results

Hello, loves!

You might remember, at the beginning of the month, I announced that I was going to participate in the Iron Tome-A-Thon Reading Challenge, hosted by Aimal @ Bookshelves and Paperbacks! I usually don’t do readathons, but this one sounded so cool, I had to give it a shot. And…I actually read some of the books that I said I was going to!?

I know, I’m just as shocked as you.

I didn’t get to read all the books I planned. Mostly because I also read some books outside the readathon parameters (like a few romances and a hefty apocalyptic sci-fi) and most of the books I wanted to read for the challenges, I had to get from the library, and they took a little while for me to get and then all came in at the end of the month. Still, I’m proud of my progress and that I made the attempt at all! And those books that I didn’t get to read this month, I’ll read next month, so I’m still crossing them off of my TBR list.

A reminder that all of my points (which, you can read about the point system here) goes to the house where I pledged my loyalties.

So, my total points for my house comes to 1,408 points! I’m not sure if that is a good amount or not, but I read the most this month than I have in a while (especially if you include the books that didn’t count for this challenge) and for that, I’m pretty dang proud.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING, READ The Poppy War. It’s VERY GRIM DARK and absolutely thoughtful and harrowing. I love the crap out of it.
