Hello, lovelies!
April is upon us and it still feels weird to say. I’m so thankful for the better weather (hopefully) on the horizon (or, at least, it is this weekend and I need it so badly) and hope some days reading out in the sunshine are on my horizon soon!
Last month, I had 5 books on my TBR and I ended up reading 1 of them. Oops. To be fair, though, between grad school, finishing edits on my novel and client work, reading was on my lowest priority last month, to be honest. And you know what? Sometimes, that’s just how it’s gotta be.

Books I Want to Read in April
Goal # Read: 4 Books
Books on this List: 4 books
For the Wolf by Hannah Whitten
It’s from Orbit and it’s creepy, fantastic vibes are giving me life. Plus, Hannah’s Twitter is fantastic, so now I gotta read her work!
Hall of Smoke by H.M. Long
The release of the cover art of the sequel made me realize I still haven’t started this series, so here we are, let’s go.
The Women’s War by Jenna Glass
All I needed was “epic feminist fantasy of the #MeToo movement” and done, sold.
Firelight by Kristen Callihan
Honestly, if I could just read steampunk fantasy always and forever, I would be so, so happy. Hoping this will be the third author to help me satisfy this craving!!

Will I actually start reading more? Or will the low reading month of March carry into April? Let’s see.
What about you? Any TBR plans for April? If you don’t make TBRs, what is a book you’re really excited about reading or one you just finished that made you feel things? Let me know in the comments!!

Just got my For the Wolf ARC, so excited for it! Probably won’t read until May, but I can stare at the pretty cover until then. Enjoy your reading!
Me too!! I’m hoping to read it this month since I told myself I was going to read THE UNBROKEN on time and didn’t do that (sigh), but we’ll see!!
Ahh is For the Wolf out this month already!? I feel like I’ve had my eye on that one for awhile… No particular plans for April, though I hope to read at least a few more middle grade novels than I have in recent months.
It’s actually out in May! I have an ARC. But that sounds like an awesome plan. I don’t read much middle grade, but I hope you find some books that are amazing to read!!
Oh good, I have a bit of time still 😉 I’ll see if I can put a copy on hold!
Eee, yay! I’ll be interested to see what you think of it (I haven’t started it yet, but I’ve heard such good things).
