Quick post today, but excited to continue to push forward as we’re already halfway through the summer!

On the saving thing, I read once about the idea of a ‘no spend’ month and have implemented it before with quite a bit of success. If you pick a month where you don’t have much planned and you make a list of what you can buy (essentials, such as groceries, new shampoo, more ink) and what’s off-limits. It helped me because if I actually REALLY wanted something by the time the next month came around, I knew I really wanted it, but it also helped me figure out if I ‘needed’ it. We’re going to do it for August/September when we’re back from rafting 🙂
I’m so sorry it took me so long to respond to this. I’m not sure if I can actually swing an entire month without spending it on anything else, but maybe I could try doing every other paycheck? I may have to try this method, but I’m glad it works for you!
Yeah it really depends on what else you’ve got going on!
