I think, at this point, 2021 is just not my reading year, since I’m averaging (if I’m lucky) a book every 1.5 months. But, will that stop me from making my usual monthly reading TBR and hope that, perhaps, this month might be better than the last!? You betcha. And what better way that trying to beat a pandemic reading slump than by celebrating Self Published Fantasy Month!!

Books I Want to Read in September (Self-Published Edition!)
Goal # Read: 3 Books
Books on this List: 3 books
The Threat of Shadows by J.A. Andrews
J.A. is so kind and I adored her previous book that I read. She was kind enough to send me this entire series and I’m so excited to dive in!
Priestess of Ishana by Judith Starkston
I still really want to read this book (she says, as it’s showed up on multiple monthly reading TBRs…)
The Bride Price by Quenby Olson
I adore Quen online and want to support her by reading her books, so I’m excited to read her work for the first time!

What about you? Any TBR plans for September? If you don’t make a reading TBR, what is a book you’re really excited about reading or one you just finished that made you feel things? Let me know in the comments!!

My September TBR is…a mess lol. The good news is there’s a bunch of book threes in the stack, so I knock those out, that means a whole series is done FOREVER. Good luck with your pile, I know you can get to Priestess of Ishana, I BELIEVE IN YOU.
Great list! I’m still not recovered from the chaos that was my summer TBR, so I said I would resist making one for self-pub month this year, but the temptation is strong.
Quen is so lovely, I read her ” Lady Griffith’s Second Chance” and it was just amazing and lovely. It’s a romance with a middle aged mom.
Thank you!! I really need to dive into her romances, I’ve heard only the most amazing things!
